Death Arrives

During the last week I was on the gold coast for, south queensland had some really big storms. And I mean... REALLY big storms, lol. This picture was taken just before one such storm hit. It literally blocked out the sky and took seconds to arrive. I think this picture was taken at around 6pm (when it's usually still very bright).

When my room mates and I looked out the window of our apartment, one of them said it looked like death arriving. Hence the name.

Never been freaked out by storms but this one definitely did that During this storm our apartment building was hit by lightning 4 times! Scared the bejeebers out of us! At one point when we stood out on our balcony the rain was so heavy we literally couldn't see a foot in front of us >.<
